To prepare for your Maid house cleaning, just follow these four simple steps:

  • Before your team arrives for your scheduled cleaning please remove clutter so we can effectively clean all surfaces – this includes clothing, kids toy and dishes in the kitchen sink.
  • Find a good spot for your pets so they are safe and comfortable while we clean.
  • If payment has not already been arranged, leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter.

How to prepare for professional house cleaning

Before their scheduled visit, you should be completely prepared and aware of what you want to be done by the cleaners from the time they enter your house to the time they exit.

1.Communicate

Setting right expectations is an essential part of getting the job done efficiently. You need to make sure that you communicate all the goals to the professional cleaners.

You should communicate about things that need special attention, like certain areas including bathroom floors or kitchen sink, in advance.

You should provide feedback on your last appointment and indicate anything you did not like to make sure the same mistakes do not repeat and trouble other customers.

2.Cleanup for the maid

Although you want professional cleaners to do their job of cleaning, you also want to make sure they have less hindrance in their way like toys scattered on the floor or mails laying all over the place.

Clearing up the extra clutter will save time and help the cleaner focus on their job. If you have any personal items, make sure they are kept aside in the drawers or cabinets.

3.Will they bring cleaning material?

Make sure you talk to them about all the material that you recommend for cleaning the house. If you have any special requirements such as wooden floor cleaners, you should communicate that beforehand so that there is no wastage of time once the cleaner is at your place.

Ensuring the availability of all tools and cleaning products is necessary so that you do not have to arrange any accessory such as detergent or vacuum cleaners at the last minute.

A mailbox will be active whenever we are not available to immediately answer your call (we turn the cell phone off when doing walk-through appointments and cleaning jobs) and we will call you back as soon as possible.

If you need us urgently on the weekend, we can help you out, but we prefer email or text as the best method of contact.

Phone calls may go to voicemail, so please leave us a message and expect a return call the following business day.

Maid services do?

We will perform the cleaning tasks as scheduled on the attached checklist. We have a 2-hour minimum. Please note that we provide you with an estimate before we start to clean.

If the amount of time needed to clean your home differs significantly from the estimate, then an adjustment of the price will be necessary.

Also, if the conditions in your home change (for example additional pets or people living in your home), a price or service revision will be necessary.

We clean in groups of two to three maids.  At NO TIME will there be only one maid in your home, either by request or by staffing shortages.  This is for your safety and ours, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

 

Add-on house cleaning Services

We are happy to provide you with additional services (i.e. cleaning the inside of the oven/refrigerator/cupboards, carpet cleaning or tile and grout cleaning if accessible….).

Additional tasks need to be requested in advance, so Maid in Allen can schedule the additional time and supplies needed. Additional fees are incurred when additional services are needed.

In order to keep our prices as low as possible, it is important for us to have uninterrupted access to the areas of your home that we will be cleaning.

Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously, but we cannot assume liability for the safety of others. This includes children and pets.

We need to be able to work freely and without distractions. If we are subject to distractions that affect our ability to perform our work in a timely manner, we reserve the right to charge for extra time spent in your home.

We ask that you pick up toys, clothing and dishes in the kitchen sink or other items before we arrive so the time we spend in your home can be as efficient as possible.

Jericho Cleaning Services reserves the right to re-evaluate the rates at any time to allow for business-related costs such as gas and travel time increases, and other cost increases.You will be notified of any rate changes 14 days in advance.
